Antonio "Tony" Rivera

executive director

Founder of GT3 (Goods Today. Trades Tomorrow.) – a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the future workforce by supporting technical and trade education.

After spending more than two decades in global manufacturing, supply chain, and business leadership, Tony recognized that one of America’s greatest challenges is the growing shortage of skilled tradespeople. GT3 was created to help bridge that gap by turning donated goods into scholarships, transportation assistance, tools, and other resources that help students pursue careers in the trades.

A proud American who immigrated from Mexico in 1976, Tony believes opportunity changes lives. His own journey has inspired a lifelong commitment to giving back and helping others build meaningful careers through hard work, education, and mentorship.

Tony is passionate about manufacturing, workforce development, sustainability, and creating partnerships between businesses, schools, and communities. He believes that every donated item has the potential to become an investment in someone’s future and that supporting the skilled trades strengthens families, businesses, and the nation’s economy.

Through GT3, Tony’s mission is simple: transform donated goods into opportunities that empower the next generation of welders, electricians, mechanics, machinists, HVAC technicians, truck drivers, and other skilled professionals who keep our communities and industries moving.
